TRAVELING BY CAR

Just a few miles north of the Las Vegas Strip, Las Vegas Motor Speedway rises like a diamond in the desert. For NASCAR fans, it’s one of the season’s most exciting venues, and with everything happening in Las Vegas, your race weekend can easily turn into a full getaway.

Because of the high number of visitors, LVMS strongly advises fans to arrive early. If you hold a parking pass, be sure to read the instructions printed on the back, as they may differ from general guidance. On-site police officers and attendants will direct vehicles into lots as they open.

Directions

• From the South (Las Vegas Strip / Downtown): Take I-15 North to Exit 54 (Speedway Blvd.). LVMS is located about 10 miles from downtown. As an alternative, you can also use Las Vegas Boulevard North.
• From the North: Take I-15 South to Exit 54 (Speedway Blvd.).
• From the Northwest Valley: Use the CC-215 Beltway East to I-15 North. Take Exit 54 (Speedway Blvd.), then stay in the left two lanes of the exit ramp and continue straight across Speedway Blvd. into the Blue Lot (public parking). Follow directions from the Nevada Highway Patrol (NHP) and attendants.
• From the Strip and Southwest Valley: Take I-15 North to Exit 54 (Speedway Blvd.), stay in the left lanes on the exit ramp, and head straight into the Blue Lot.
• From Henderson, Boulder City, and the Southeast Valley: Take US-95 North to Las Vegas Blvd. Continue north on Las Vegas Blvd. to LVMS and enter through Entry 3 for public parking.
• From the Northeast Valley: Use Las Vegas Blvd. North and enter LVMS through Entry 3.
• From Logandale, Overton, Mesquite, and points north: Take I-15 South to Exit 54 (Speedway Blvd.). Turn left onto Speedway Blvd., then turn left again into the Blue Lot.

Driving times (approximate)

• From the Las Vegas Strip – 20 minutes (15 miles via I-15 North)
• From Henderson – 30 minutes (25 miles via US-95 North and Las Vegas Blvd.)
• From Mesquite, NV – 1 hour 15 minutes (80 miles via I-15 South)
• From St. George, UT – 1 hour 45 minutes (110 miles via I-15 South)
• From Los Angeles, CA – 4 to 5 hours (270 miles via I-15 North)

Extra tips 

• Expect heavy traffic and possible delays near the Speedway.
• Use all available lanes as directed by attendants.
• For safety reasons, do not attempt to park south of Speedway Blvd.
• Parking at Legends Outlets is discouraged — crossing restricted roads can be unsafe and much slower than using Speedway lots.
